CARMELA D KRANTZ
Founder & CEO
Carmela has over 30 years of experience leading all aspects of Human Resources. She is now using her extensive and diverse knowledge to lead WOVEN. Over the course of her career, Carmela has been the first Vice President of Human Resources at nine companies, including six start-ups. Her experience spans across technology, retail, hospitality and wholesale companies and with a variety of business outcomes. She has worked closely with employees at all levels to help them build strong communication skills, leadership skills and working relationships to drive positive business results. Carmela completed her certification as an Executive and Leadership Coach through the Hudson Institute and has been Board Chair of a San Francisco based non-profit organization.
ANGELA PAGLIA
Angela is a seasoned Human Resources and Operations leader, with over 15 years of experience developing and scaling the People function. She is a strong generalist, supporting C-level, managers and employees at all levels of the organization to build HR strategy, policies and operational foundations. Angela’s hands-on approach has led to trusted relationships across her experiences at tech startups, well-established organizations, and with her long-standing WOVEN clients. She believes HR can be both a strategic advantage and simple.
SARAH KORS
Sarah has over over 10 years of experience delivering strategic and tactical people programs across the employee lifecycle. Her expertise spans core people operations, leadership consulting, job architecture and compensation, and company specific, legal policy implementation. Passionate about exceeding client expectations, she builds strong relationships for lasting partnerships. Sarah's "slow down to go fast" approach ensures a right-sized people infrastructure, driving business impact and positive employee experiences. With a Master’s in People Development, a progressive business background, and certifications in HR and health coaching, she brings a holistic perspective to her work.
MARISA ROBISCH
Marisa is an HR professional with a strong background in all aspects of human resources operations and the non-profit space. Marisa's 20+ years of experience leading People teams and developing HR practices has resulted in strong and trusted relationships across all levels of organizations. She is passionate about solving people-challenges and supporting employees and C-level executives to help them realize their strengths. Marisa holds SPHR and SPC certifications and also serves as the Board Secretary for a San Francisco non-profit.
ELIZA BERNARD
Eliza has over 17 years of experience building, leading and scaling the People functions at fast paced companies at startup, growth and mature stage. She brings a history of strong, strategic partnerships with C-level executives, leaders and managers to establish operations and business environments that achieve results. Eliza excels at driving compensation, performance, and operational strategies and the in-person and remote workplaces she’s built have won numerous awards nationally, including the Best Places to Work in the U.S. and San Francisco.
